Dwelling on Goodness

Well, enough of terrorists and evil. No doubt those that spew hatred will come up with another thing to protest against or kill someone for. Many on the blogosphere are bringing their crimes to light so that I don’t need to (see blogroll). For now, I prefer to dwell on the good.

8Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious–the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. 9Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies (Philippians 4:8,9) The Message Bible

My son leaves tomorrow for Basic Training. 😦 We will miss him, but will see him again, God willing, at Thanksgiving!
